Abigail Cox of York on 2017 Women's Lacrosse Roster at Kutztown University

Abigail Cox of York, PA has been named to this year's 2017 Kutztown University women's lacrosse team.

Kutztown returns nearly the entirety of its squad that set records in nearly every category last season to finish 7-10, 3-9 in the PSAC.

2017 marks the 10th year of KU women's lacrosse since the program was re-established in 2008.

Three All-PSAC Golden Bears return this season. Senior defender Courtney O'Neill was an All-PSAC First Team selection and is the school-record-holder for caused turnovers in a season and career.

Sarah Gabriele set the school-record for points and draw controls in a season last year and earned All-PSAC Third Team honors, while fellow All-PSAC Third Teamer Lauren Huggins returns in the midfield having posted the second-most points in program history behind Gabriele last year.

Kutztown will open its season hosting Chestnut Hill College on Saturday, Feb. 25. The game is set to start at 1 p.m.
