Alaina Curry Awarded Copper Chambliss Student Academic Achievement Award from Kutztown University

Alaina Curry of York, Pa., has been awarded a Copper Chambliss Student Academic Achievement Award from Kutztown University. It is the highest honor awarded by the university.

Curry is graduating this spring with a degree in biology/pre-med. She received the award for her noteworthy achievements in athletics.

Curry was honored as a Second Team All-America women's soccer forward this year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. She has been a starting player for the Kutztown University women's soccer team for the past four years. She has played in more than 60 games, which is a tie for the fourth-most in school history.

Curry was an integral part of the team's success in both the Atlantic Regional Championship and it's first ever NCAA Final Four appearance this past fall.
