Ashley Nedley Named to ECC Commissioner's Honor Roll

Ashley Nedley of Allentown, Pa. was one of six members of the Kutztown University women's bowling team to be named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2015-16 academic year.

The women's bowling team is the only KU program that competes in the ECC.

Melanie Aptaker, Kayla Maselkevich, Dakota May, Ashley Nedley, Felicia Trievel and Amanda Wilson represented Kutztown as members of this year's Honor Roll from the ECC.

These six bowlers have also earned spots on this year's Academic All-National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) Team and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete team.

The Commissioner's Honor Roll is awarded to student-athletes who receive a 3.25 or better cumulative grade point average. This annual recognition, in addition to Scholar-Athlete awards, helps to uphold the East Coast Conference's mission of promoting the total person and the ability to excel not only in the athletic arena but also in the classroom.

A total of 1,262 student-athletes were named to the Honor Roll, an all-time high.
