Behm Named PSAC Field Hockey Player of the Week

Senior Anna Behm (Kutztown, Pa./Kutztown) of the Kutztown University field hockey team led the Golden Bears to a 2-0 record last week after recording hat-tricks in each game, earning her this season's first Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Field Hockey Athlete of the Week, announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. In the season opener against Mansfield, Behm scored three times as KU defeated the Mountaineers, 6-0. On Sunday, she had a hand in all four goals in a 4-2 victory at Newberry. She compiled three goals and one assist. Currently, Behm leads all of Division II in goals (six), points (14), points per game (4.67), and is tied for the lead in assists (two) and goals per game (2.0). No other player in Division II has more than eight points or four goals. For Behm, it is her first PSAC Athlete of the Week honor. She currently ranks sixth all-time at KU with 40 career goals.
