Christopher Kane of Maple Glen on 2016 Football Roster at Kutztown University

Christopher Kane of Maple Glen, Pa. (19002) has been named to this year's 2016 Kutztown University football team.

KU finished 7-4 with a 5-2 record in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division last year and played for a shot at the PSAC East title on the final week of divisional play.

Jim Clements enters his third year leading the program in 2016. He has posted winning seasons in each of his first two years to continue his career stretch of 10 straight seasons with a winning record, dating back to his eight years at Delaware Valley College.

The Golden Bears open their season at Assumption College on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 1 p.m. It will be KU's first-ever trip to Worchester, Mass. after playing the Greyhounds for the first time last season.

The home-opener is slated for Saturday, Sept. 10 against Mercyhurst University at University Field at Andre Reed Stadium beginning at 5:05 p.m.
