Denlinger Named PSAC Field Hockey Player of the Week

Senior goalkeeper Kayla Denlinger, Manheim, PA., of the Kutztown University field hockey team was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Field Hockey Athlete of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon. The goalkeeper shined last week, allowing a total of just two goals while making 12 saves in games against No. 1 West Chester and Indiana (Pa.). Against WCU, Denlinger limited the Golden Rams to just one goal and made eight saves in the 1-0 loss. In a 3-1 victory over IUP, she tallied four saves. Denlinger ranks third in the PSAC and third in Division II in save percentage (.854).
