Kady Wuagon of Langhorne Named to 2016-17 Tennis Team at Kutztown University

Kady Wuagon of Langhorne, PA (19047) has been named to this year's 2016-17 Kutztown University tennis team.

On the men's side, Kutztown returns three student-athletes from last year. On the women's side, KU enters the 2016-17 campaign looking to return to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Tournament for the first time in three years. With six returners, who will be joined by two incoming freshmen, the feeling is that certainly is an attainable goal.

Shari Bucklin-Webber enters her second season as the head men's and women's tennis coach at Kutztown University in 2016-17. Bucklin-Webber took over two young programs in her first year, as KU combined for five wins. At KU, she holds a career men's record of 2-15 and women's record of 3-14.

KU competes in three dual matches in the fall, opening its season on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Keystone Tennis Courts at 11 a.m. against Roberts Wesleyan. The Golden Bears also host Saint Thomas Aquinas for a 2 p.m. start on Oct. 5. and travel to The College of New Jersey on Sept. 28. The 2016 PSAC Individual Championships, hosted by Bloomsburg, take place from Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
