Kayla Fusselman Awarded Copper Chambliss Student Academic Achievement Award from Kutztown University

Kayla Fusselman of Kempton, Pa.,

has been awarded a Copper Chambliss Student Academic Achievement Award from Kutztown University. It is the highest honor awarded by the university.

Fusselman is a graduating in May with a degree in art education. She received the award for her outstanding service to the Kutztown University community.

As a part of her Honors Thesis, Kayla collaborated with fellow Chambliss Award-winner Kayla Fusselman to publish a book on the history of Kutztown University.

The book was highlighted throughout the university's Sesquicentennial Celebration. She has received media coverage from numerous local outlets and even presented the book at an alumni event in Atlanta, Ga.

Her next project will be to write a children's book.
