Allies Drag Show to Feature Shangela

Kutztown, PA (03/27/2017) — Allies of Kutztown University will present their annual Allies Drag Show on Thursday, March 30, at 7 p.m. in Schaeffer Auditorium. This year's show, sponsored by the Association of Campus Events, will feature special guest Shangela. The show will also feature many other professional and student drag performers. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Trans Lifeline. All are welcome to attend.

Shangela is most commonly known from participating and making it to the top 5 contestants on two seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race. Since then Shangela has made several television appearances, being featured on shows like Toddlers & Tiaras, Glee and the Community.

The Trans Lifeline is a non-profit dedicated to the well-being of transgender people. Trans Lifeline is a hotline run by transgender volunteers to respond to whatever support members of the transgender community might need. For more information on Trans Lifeline, visit www.translifeline.org.
