Arturo Sandoval Returns to Kutztown University April 16
Kutztown, PA (04/01/2019) — 10-time Grammy Award winner and trumpet master Arturo Sandoval makes his return to Kutztown University on Tuesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. at Schaeffer Auditorium.
A protégé of legendary jazz master Dizzy Gillespie, Sandoval is one of the world's most acknowledged guardians of the jazz trumpet and flugelhorn, as well as a renowned classical artist, pianist and composer. In addition to his 19 Grammy nominations, he has received six Billboard Awards and an Emmy Award for his underscore composition for the HBO movie based on his life, For Love or Country, in which Andy Garcia portrays Sandoval.
