Barry Bostwick joins A.R. Gurney's Love Letters at Kutztown University
Kutztown, PA (02/07/2019) — Unfortunately, due to a fall, Hal Linden has to take a couple weeks off from the Love Letters tour in order to heal. Love Letters will still be performed at Kutztown University, as planned, on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in Schaeffer Auditorium on the Kutztown University campus. Stepping in Linden's role to play alongside Barbara Eden is Golden Globe, Tony Award and Peabody Award winning actor, Barry Bostwick.
Bostwick has appeared in many films, television programs and stage productions, but he is best known for playing Brad in The Rocky Horror Picture Show and New York Mayor Randall Winston in Spin City with Michael J. Fox.
Eden, of I Dream of Jeannie, and Bostwick star in a modern American Classic: boy meets girl. Girl writes to boy. Girl and boy correspond throughout their lives. Love Letters, A.R. Gurney's beloved play about two people who grow up in love with each other's writing, is as much a celebration of the power of the written word as it is to love itself. Poetic, elegant, funny and profoundly touching, Love Letters shows that, despite how things seem, what divides us is rarely as powerful as what connects us. Experience the personalities that kept us riveted to our TV screens and laughing through the years.
