Kutztown, PA (09/19/2017) — The Frederick Douglass Institute at Kutztown University will kicks off this year's FDI Discussion Series with a presentation on Monday, September 25, entitled A Road to Success: An Introduction to the Frederick Douglass Institute. Dr. Maria Sanelli, KU FDI director, will moderate the discussion which begins at 12 p.m. in room 250 of the McFarland Student Union. It is free and open to the public.
The Frederick Douglass Institute at Kutztown University sponsors a discussion series to facilitate dialog around issues of cultural diversity and social equality. In doing so, the Institute creates a forum for individuals of varying backgrounds to interact, encourage members of the campus community to share their cultural and personal experiences, exposes participants to the experiences and contributions of the underrepresented groups and stimulates the exchange of ideas concerning issues of diversity.
