Fred Hafer Jr. to Address College of Business Students at Kutztown University

Kutztown, PA (10/25/2017) — The College of Business at Kutztown University will welcome Fred Hafer, Jr. on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m. in room 101 of the Academic Forum. Hafer, owner of Omnitech Automation, Inc., Emmaus, Lehigh County, will speak to students about his success within the field of manufacturing custom robotic/automation equipment. This event is open to students, faculty and staff.

Founded in 1965, Omnitech provides automated equipment design and manufacturing. Hafer and his father, Fred Hafer, Sr., purchased Omnitech in 2005. Prior to Omnitech, Hafer oversaw global marketing at Arrow International, Inc., Reading. He recently launched a new company, FreVon, Inc., Reading, creator of the Ball Cannon, the world's first recreational football launcher.

Hafer graduated from Kutztown University with a bachelor's degree in physics in 1986 and later earned a master's degree in business administration from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, Pa.
