KU Arts Society Sponsoring Student Matinee March 22
Kutztown, PA (03/11/2019) — The Kutztown University Arts Society, as part of its Promoting the Love of Arts for Youth initiative (PLAY), is sponsoring a student matinee for Benise: Fuego! on Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. in Schaeffer Auditorium.
The KU Arts Society invited local schools to attend the matinee at no cost and will also sponsor each of the schools' travel costs through funding support from the newly established KU Arts Society, KU Financial Aid Department's "College Can Be a Reality" program, and individual donations.
More than 600 K-12 students will be present.
The KU Arts Society is dedicated to promoting and advancing arts programming at Kutztown University and in the surrounding community. Their sponsoring of the student matinee serves to encourage a passion and appreciation for the arts at a young age.
