KU Council of Trustees Approves 47 Internship Agreements at Thursday's September Meeting
Kutztown, PA (09/19/2019) — The Kutztown University Council of Trustees approved 47 internship agreements as part of their first meeting of the 2019-2020 academic year Thursday, Sept. 19.
In Thursday's business, the KU Council of Trustees:
* Approved the Minutes from previous meeting held June 13, 2019.
* Approved 47 internship agreements (35 new) with KU and AAA East Central (business administration), Aptagen, L.L.C. (academic affairs), Behavior Analysis and Therapy Partners (social work), Bethel Elementary School, Tulpehocken Area School District (psychology), Body Zone Sports (sport management), Bound Brook High School (sport management), Camp Towanda (sport management), Carlisle Arts Learning Center (art education), Cedar Crest College (student affairs), Center for Rural Pennsylvania (political science), Cheyney University (student affairs), Clubhouse of Lehigh County (psychology), Concern (psychology), Coplay Borough (business administration), East Stroudsburg University (athletic training), Full Reps Training Center (sport management), Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network (social work), Great Valley Publishing Company, Inc. * Approved 11 Affiliation Agreements (1 new, 10 renewal) with KU's College of Education and Bangor, Minersville Area, North Schuylkill, Owen J. Roberts, Pine Grove Area, Pleasant Valley, Rose Tree Media, Salisbury Township, Schuylkill Haven Area, Scranton and Tamaqua Area School Districts.
* Approved new Transfer and Articulation Agreements with KU and Raritan Valley Community College and Reading Area Community College.
* Approved consent agenda items consisting of select purchases and contracts under $100,000, and select purchases and contracts $100,000 and over.
The KU Council of Trustees next public board meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, 250 McFarland Student Union Building.
