KU Council of Trustees Approves Spring 2019 Graduates at Thursday's April Meeting

Kutztown, PA (04/25/2019) — The Kutztown University Council of Trustees approved graduates for next month's spring commencement ceremonies as part of their fifth meeting of the academic year on Thursday, April 25.

In Thursday's business, the KU Council of Trustees:

* Approved the Minutes from previous meeting on March 7, 2019.

* Approved 19 internship agreements (eight new, 11 renewals) with KU and Based Media (music), Berks History Center (history), Clay on Main (art education), Gossamer Games (art/art history), Hurricane Junior Golf Tour Headquarters (sport management), Jim Thorpe Area School District (sport management), Klunk & Millan (communication design), Kutztown Animal Hospital (biology), Kutztown Area Historical Society (history), Lancaster Barnstormers (sport management), Partners Design, Inc. (communication design), PA Senate Democratic Communications Office (academic affairs), Pennoni (geography), Pottsgrove School District (sport management), Salib Oncology (biology), Schwenksville Elementary School (library/learning technologies), Suzy Rae Design (communication), The Arc Alliance Children's Services (psychology) and William Fox Munroe, Inc. (communication design).

* Approved eight Affiliation Agreements (3 new, five renewal) with KU's College of Education and Brandywine Heights Area School District, Central Bucks School District, Conestoga Valley School District, Conrad Weiser School District, Foundation for Blind Children, Jim Thorpe Area School District, Palisades Area School District and Roberto Clemente Charter School.

* Approved two new Memorandums of Understanding with Antietam School District and Brandywine Heights Area School District.

* Approved Spring 2019 graduates.

* Approved consent agenda items consisting of select purchases and contracts under $100,000, and select purchases and contracts $100,000 and over.

* Approved 2019-20 auxiliary fees and budgets.

* Approved miscellaneous fees.

The KU Council of Trustees next public board meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. on June 13, 2019, in McFarland Student Union Building Room 250.
