Kutztown University's Communication Design Program Ranked No. 1 in Affordable Online Graphic Design Master's Degrees
Kutztown, PA (09/03/2019) — Kutztown University's communication design (KUCD) program has been named the most affordable online master's degree in graphic design for 2019 by Graphic Design Degree Hub. KU ranked No. 1 and was the only Pennsylvania school recognized.
Kutztown University's College of Visual and Performing Arts offers the first and only Master of Fine Arts in communication design within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), with choices from concentrations in graphic, interactive, advertising and illustration.
Graphic Design Degree Hub's mission is to share knowledge on the highest quality graphic design degree programs available in the United States. Based on a point scale, this year's ranking was created based on hourly tuition rate, Payscale.com's salary report ranking, regional accreditation and National Association for Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) accreditation. Universities were awarded five points maximum for each of the four categories, with Kutztown University, Ball State University and Kent State University each holding 17 points.
KU's communication design program has also been nationally-recognized by Animation Career Review as a 2019 Top 10 Graphic Design School in Pennsylvania and by TheBestSchools.org as one of the best online master's in graphic design programs in the nation.
