Kutztown University to Host Minsi Trails Council Boy Scouts of America JAMBO May 17-19

Join the over 5,000 Scouts expected for the weekend of May 17-19, 2019, at Kutztown University to help celebrate Minsi Trails Council's 50th anniversary. Just wait till you see what's in store for 2019. Jambo is a weekend experience jam-packed with action and adventure for Scouts and their families.

Cub Scouts will enjoy tons of hands-on activities including a giant JENGA game, making their own slime in the STEM area, playing Gaga Ball, mining for gems, building a planter, bowling, playing hoverball and so much more.
For the older Scouts, the Scouts BSA Program area will have traditional Scouting activities including knot tying, patch trading, merit badges & more along with the fun and excitement of Gaga Ball, Can Jam, Monkey Bridges and more.
There will be plenty of fun for everyone along the Mainway including inflatable Boulder Dash Course, Gladiator Joust, Giant Slides, Rock Mountain, Boot Camp Obstacle Course, demonstrations and interactive shows from Franklin Institute, The DaVinci Center and more.
Get ready for some great music and a good time at the Jambo 2019 Evening Show. This year, The '70s Flashback Band will hit the center-stage with great music and a full concert experience. For this Jambo we'll be inside the huge O'Pake Fieldhouse with concert-quality sound and lights! For many Cub Scouts this may be their first concert, and this family-friendly evening will be sure to please. The '70s Flashback Band is a Musikfest favorite and has played to packed concert venues around the area.
Always a Jambo favorite, the closing fireworks display will follow the evening show with a fantastic, high aerial display from world-class Celebration Fireworks! It's a great way to end a great day at Jambo 2019, the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Minsi Trails Council.
