Funded by a trust in honor of the late Bennett Harris, Professor of English, this award goes to the writer of the most humorous fiction or nonfiction work.

Bethany Tirrell has been awarded a Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium Undergraduate Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to full-time students attending an accredited Pennsylvania college or university with outstanding academic records who will be juniors or seniors in fall 2016. Aaron Hardenstine has been named the recipient of the 2016 Anthony J. Mazzaferri Award at Kutztown University. The Anthony J. Mazzaferri scholarship is awarded to a junior or senior history major, history with paralegal major or a secondary education/social studies major with good academic standing. This scholarship was established in memory of Dr. Anthony J. Mazzaferri, former professor of history, by Dr. Annette Mazzaferri, wife and emerita professor of speech and theatre.
